By this judgment, the Court awarded final compensation of approximately €100,000 against a Municipal Authority and in favor of our client, a legal entity, for the expropriation of its property for urban planning purposes in the Elaionas area.
The Court found that, following the installation of the Metro in 2007 and subsequent urban development measures, the area has been undergoing significant regeneration. Specifically, it held that industrial and transport-related uses had ceased, giving way to commercial enterprises and office buildings, with strong demand from major multinational retail chains.
Based on this reasoning, the Court concluded that the market value of the expropriated property was 60% higher than the amount proposed by the opposing Municipality.

By virtue of the above judgment, the Court awarded compensation exceeding €3,300,000 against the Hellenic
